| Introduction of DC Series Thyristor Total-Digital Automatic Submerged Arc Welding Machine
DC series submerged arc welding machine is a multi-functional welding power unit controlled by total-digital thyristor and applicable to both semiautomatic and automatic welding. It can provide several high performance welding modes, such as constant-voltage submerged arc welding, constant-current submerged arc welding, gas shielded welding and carbon arc air gouging. All of these functions are controlled by the total-digital operation panel and the impulse potentiometer. The power supply panel is controlled by singlechip, so it has powerful functions such as presetting of welding current, voltage and travel speed, and storage of parameters. The communication distance between the submerged arc welding power supply and the welding tractor can be up to 100m. The machine also provides several protections such as protection against power phase loss, abnormal temperature, communication failure and warning conditions. The machine is provided with digitally driven silicon control, leading to stable and reliable trigger. Nixie tubes are used to display current and voltage parameters, which provide convenient reading, smaller reading error and convenient adjustment and setting of parameters.
